I’ve been busy working on my Etsy shop this month by adding better
It is now over a month ago that I attended the Call of the Wild Soul Art Retreat in Petaluma, CA.
I posted an album of photos on my Facebook page which captures the essence of my trip.
As promised here are my first experimental prints from my own hand-made gelatin plates.
We are celebrating September with the three S’s here!
Hello! I would like to invite you to an exciting PIN-HOP! A what? Let me explain it to you!
Recently a group of designers got together and discussed how to keep the idea of a blog hop, but make it easier and quicker to find your favorite designers. The answer was, of course, a pin-hop on Pinterest! A big shout out to Tina Olsson of FYLLAYTA for herding cats organizing the artists!
On Saturday, June 15, close to 50 designers will ‘pin’ their best interpretations of 4 different themes (from an A/W 13-14 brief by Patternbank.com) to a unique board on Pinterest.
Once on the board, you will see one pattern per designer. If you like a particular pattern and want to see more designs by that artist, just click on their pattern and then link to their website/blog/portfolio. On Pinterest you can also leave comments, share, like, and save to your own favorites. Perfect for all visual artists! One of the many designers participating in this pin-hop is the super talented Sally Garner of Sarah Paris Style! Be sure to find her on the pin-hop.
The link to the Find New Designers Pin-Hop board which goes live on June 15, is (drumroll please): http://pinterest.com/fndnewdesigners/pin-hop-june-2013
I hope you can make it! For now, I present the Midnight Garden theme by Patternbank which inspired my collection of five patterns which follows.
And here are my designs below and possible uses for them. All patterns are available for sale or license. There are also limited products available in my Society6 shop.
STAY TUNED NEXT WEEK FOR A FEATURE ABOUT HOW I CREATED THIS PATTERN DESIGN ON http://artisticallyafflicted.com !
The Pin-hop Pinterest board is hosted by Find New Designers, a fast growing directory of independent professional print and pattern designers, found on the website http://findnewdesigners.com/ (another great opportunity to find talented pattern designers). This pin hop is organized by Tina Olsson, who sells her designs under the name FYLLAYTA, at http://fyllayta.wordpress.com/

A bunch of us pattern designers got together for an “efuto” exchange.
I recently did a logo design for a local jewelry company called, The Old Moon Company.
